It does a great job converting our cable service, Comcast to 1080P . With the vast array of adjustments from the Receiver and the TV, The Picture Quality can Rival some LED HDTV's with ease. There's much more space for HD connections which we don't have. Maybe when we add a blu - ray , etc. Viewing distance with LED truly doesn't matter as the local sales guys say.
