HDTV has become the latest innovation in digital television. The high definition television (HDTV) which comes with high
resolution pictures and surround sound is the future of HDTV. A HDTV television set is the best way to enjoy television
programs.

Based on the difference in the working methodology, HD televisions can be broadly classified in to two; HD-capable sets and HD-ready sets. The former model requires an external HDTV receiver/decoder to display HDTV signals on the screen. The latter model comes with an inbuilt HDTV receiver/decoder built.
